Papers relating to the work of South African born Greek actor Angelique Rockas, founder and artistic director of the London-based Internationalist Theatre company (formerly known as New Theatre and New Internationalist Theatre). Internationalist Theatre and its predecessor companies were formed to pioneer the performance of classical drama and contemporary plays with multi-national and multi-racial casts. Consists of material mostly relating to productions staged by this company as well as productions by the Greek Cypriot political theatre company Theatro Technis, of which Rockas was a member before starting her own company. Also includes correspondence with notable theatre practitioners, film directors and religious figures.
